 Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is the real name of Mahatma Gandhi. He was born on October 2, 1869, in Porbandar, India. He is the son of Karamchand Gandhi and Putlibai Gandhi. He fought for Indian freedom. He was a lawyer, anti-colonialist, and political ethicist. He married Kasturi Bai in 1883. He died on January 30, 1948, at the age of 78
