Ajaz Patel

 Ajaz Patel is a New Zealand cricketer who was born on October 21, 1988, in Mumbai, India. He is a left-arm spinner who made his international debut for New Zealand in 2018, in a Test match against Pakistan.Before playing for New Zealand, Patel played domestic cricket in New Zealand for the Central Districts team. He made his first-class debut in 2012 and has since taken over 250 wickets in first-class cricket. In 2018, Patel was named the Super Smash Player of the Year after taking 15 wickets in just six matches.Patel made an impressive start to his international career, taking five wickets in his debut Test match and becoming just the third New Zealand player to take a five-wicket haul on debut. He has since played several Test matches for New Zealand and has become a key member of the team's spin bowling attack.In addition to his cricketing achievements, Patel has also worked as a pharmacist and has a degree in pharmacy from the University of Otago.
