Ian Botham

 Ian Botham is a former professional cricketer from England, born on November 24, 1955, in Heswall, Cheshire. He was an all-rounder who played for both the England national cricket team and various domestic teams.Botham made his debut for England in 1977 and quickly established himself as one of the best all-rounders in the world. He was known for his aggressive and attacking style of play and his ability to change the course of a match with his performances. He scored over 5,000 runs and took more than 380 wickets in Test cricket, making him one of the most successful all-rounders in the history of the game.Botham also played One Day Internationals (ODIs) for England, where he scored over 2,000 runs and took more than 140 wickets. He was also a successful domestic player, playing for various teams including Somerset, Durham, and Worcestershire in the English County Championship.Off the field, Botham was known for his charity work and was involved in various fundraising initiatives for leukemia research. He was also awarded a knighthood for his services to cricket and charity.After retiring from professional cricket, Botham became a commentator and pundit.
