Imran Tahir
Imran Tahir is a former South African cricketer who played primarily as a leg-spinner. He was born on March 27, 1979, in Lahore, Pakistan, and moved to South Africa in 2006.Tahir made his international debut for South Africa in 2011 and went on to play for the team in all three formats of the game - Tests, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). He was particularly successful in limited-overs cricket, where his ability to take wickets in the middle overs made him a valuable asset for South Africa.Tahir played for several domestic teams in South Africa, including the Dolphins, Titans, and Lions. He also played for several teams in other countries, including Pakistan, England, and the West Indies.Tahir retired from international cricket in 2019 after the World Cup. He finished his international career with 61 Test wickets, 173 ODI wickets, and 63 T20I wickets. He remains one of the most successful spinners in South African cricket history.
